What we build, and what you get.

Fordawn Innovations is a software studio in Salem, Tamil Nadu, India. Four areas, one studio: commerce platforms, product engineering, operational reporting, and messaging and support automation. Most engagements start in one and grow into another.

Commerce

Custom ecommerce development and replatforming

The whole store on one platform: the storefront, wholesale for trade buyers, and the admin where orders are run. When subscriptions, tiered loyalty, gated wholesale and live warehouse stock all run through one plugin stack, the plugins become the constraint, so we build the platform and migrate the customer base onto it.

Migration, subscriptions, wholesale and warehouse

Replatforming with the customer base intact
Accounts, order history and saved addresses move across. On a migration for a US spice and kitchenware brand, every customer came across, and the only thing they did was set a new password on their first visit back.
Subscriptions, loyalty and referrals
Recurring orders that survive a stockout, points and tiers that reconcile, and referral credit that cannot be claimed twice.
B2B and wholesale portals
Trade application, certificate review and approval, then a separate price book and reorder flow running alongside retail rather than bolted onto it.
Warehouse, 3PL and carrier integration
Live stock sync with the warehouse, back-in-stock notifications, and order state that cannot move backwards when a carrier replays a webhook.
Product engineering

Full-stack product development and internal platforms

The system underneath the demo: state machines, role-based access, idempotent writes and an audit trail. None of it shows in a screenshot, and all of it decides whether the software still works in real use.

Applications, access control, integration and handover

Web applications, portals and admin panels
Customer-facing products and the internal tooling that operates them, including vendor and contractor portals where each account sees only its own records.
Role-based access control, enforced twice
Permission models applied in the application, and enforced independently a second time by the database itself, so an application bug is not a data breach.
Third-party and legacy integration
Auth, payments, CRM, ERP and messaging platforms, including the retry, duplicate and failure paths those vendors document badly.
Documented handover
Architecture notes, permission matrices and runbooks as a deliverable, so your team can run and extend the system without us.
Data and reporting

Operational reporting and custom dashboards

Most teams are not short of data. They are short of one place where the order system, the warehouse and the support desk agree. Fordawn builds that one place, so the numbers a manager checks each morning can be trusted.

Dashboards, cross-system reporting and audit trails

Dashboards inside the product
The handful of numbers a team checks daily, built into the admin panel they already use rather than in a separate tool nobody opens.
Reporting across separate systems
Pulling the store, the warehouse, the payment provider and the support desk into one view, so a question is answered once instead of reconciled by hand.
Audit trails and exports
A durable record of who changed what and when, queryable months later, with the exports finance and operations ask for.
Automation and messaging

Messaging automation, and the work nobody should be doing by hand

Conversational systems on the channels customers already use, and automation for the work nobody should be doing by hand. Built against the vendor APIs directly, so the behaviour is ours to fix rather than a builder tool's to limit.

WhatsApp, support desk, workflow and drafting

WhatsApp Business Platform systems
Direct on Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform rather than a chatbot builder, for conversations that run for days, respect who is asking, and leave a record of every step.
Custom middleware for Freshworks products
Middleware that puts order, warehouse and payment data next to the ticket an agent is already looking at, and writes their actions back to the system that owns each record.
Workflow automation
The scheduled and event-driven work behind the screens: reminders, reconciliation, notifications on a state change, and the retries that make them dependable.
Assisted drafting and classification
Drafting, sorting and extraction happen for the operator rather than by hand. Fordawn scopes this to the places where it is reliable enough to trust, and a person checks the rest.
Frequently asked questions

What buyers ask before they write to us.

What does Fordawn build?

Custom software for businesses that have outgrown their tools, in four kinds of work: custom ecommerce platforms and replatforming, full-stack products and internal platforms, operational reporting and dashboards, and messaging automation on WhatsApp and support desks. Fordawn also builds and runs its own hospital product, MediFlow.

Can Fordawn move an existing online store onto a new platform?

Yes. Fordawn builds the whole store on one platform, from the storefront and wholesale for trade buyers to the admin where orders are run, and migrates the customer base onto it.

Does Fordawn build WhatsApp systems with a chatbot builder?

No. WhatsApp systems are built directly on the WhatsApp Business Platform, so the behaviour is Fordawn's to fix rather than a builder tool's to limit.

How does a project with Fordawn start?

You tell us what is breaking. Fordawn says honestly whether it needs a rebuild or whether something simpler will do, including when the answer is that you do not need us. Scope, timeline and cost are agreed in writing before any work starts.

How does Fordawn price a project?

Most projects are a written fixed-scope quote. If the scope changes along the way, the quote is adjusted through a documented change rather than silently. There is no charge for the first call or for scoping. How long a first release takes depends on what the project needs and how big it is, so the timeline is set in each project's written scope rather than quoted in general.

How quickly does Fordawn reply to an enquiry?
